Invisible policing
The Surrey Police officers most visible to the public are those in the 106 well established Safer Neighbourhood Teams throughout the county. These are the officers you see each day on patrol in your community, dealing with the local issues and priorities that matter most to you. They include Neighbourhood Specialist Officers, PCSOs, Special Constables and those who support them in communicating with the public.
But behind the scenes are many more policing teams, units and departments – hundreds of other officers and staff members all dedicated to the cause of keeping Surrey's communities as safe and as crime-free as possible.
