Neighbourhood Policing is based on the best traditions of the police service. It is about providing local teams dedicated to our neighbourhoods. You can watch a short video about Neighbourhood Policing or find out more about your safer neighbourhood team. |

Surrey Police and partners launch a month-long Drink-Drive Campaign on 1 December 2008, in support of the national campaign. Aiming to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on the county’s roads, our message to drivers is that drinking and driving has serious, sometimes devastating, consequences. Don't be the cause of the knock on the door by a police officer, having to break the news of the death of someone's loved one.

A group of people who have shown great dedication in improving and promoting community spirit in their community have been honoured by Surrey Police. Over 120 nominations were received for the awards, launched by Surrey Police this year, in association with the University of Surrey, to celebrate the selfless and often courageous work carried out by individuals and groups in communities across Surrey.
