The Surrey Policing Pledge sets out the Force's commitment to the public in 12 succinct points that describe the service we provide. The Pledge also outlines various ways in which members of the public can get involved to help keep our communities safe.
In April 2004, a new police complaints system was introduced in England
and Wales, designed to raise standards, cut delays and increase public confidence.
The Chief Constable and the Surrey Police Authority have joined together to produce these three Local Policing Summaries (one for each Division). Each publication explains how Surrey Police is performing and highlights our plans for future policing in the county.
It's
over 150 years old, and throughout its time the Surrey Police Force has
coped with numerous amalgamations, successions, reorganisations and boundary
changes. At our museum in Guildford, you can see the whole history
