Ride Safer, Live Longer


Road Safety Icon"Ride safer, live longer" is the simple message for motorbike riders on Surrey's roads this summer as Surrey Police, Surrey County Council and Surrey Fire and Rescue Service run a major campaign to try to reduce the number of motorcyclists killed or injured on Surrey's roads. The campaign, the first of a series to promote the safety of motorcyclists on Surrey's roads, will run throughout the summer, featuring advertising on buses and a competition to win a track day at Brands Hatch.

National Tackling Drugs Week 2008


Tackling Drugs, changing livesMonday 19 May sees the start of a Home Office campaign supported by Surrey Police with the aim of ‘Tackling Drugs – Changing Lives’. National Tackling Drugs Week is a key national campaign with local agencies publicising their efforts to tackle drug issues. National Counter Terrorism Security Office


Keep your business safe and secure The National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) is a police unit providing a co-ordinating role for the police service in regard to counter-terrorism and protective security. It provides specialist advice regarding security of explosives, pathogens and toxins as well as other toxic chemicals. NaCTSO also provides guidance in relation to business continuity and reducing oppotunities for terrorism through environmental design.
